1937 First Photo#39;s Coronation Day Magazine, May 12th 1937, F

This is a legitimate Coronation Day souvenir magazine, from May 12th 1937, filled with the official first photographs of the Coronation of King George VI.

This genuine 1937 monarch magazine was issued to celebrate the crowning of King George VI in Westminster, Britain. The oversized paperback magazine features 32 pages containing dozens of printed coronation photographs from the actual event of May 12th, 1937.

A particular highlight for me is the addition of retro adverts of the era. The first page has an interesting ad that reads, quot;Welcome To Germany - where a glorious holiday awaits youquot; which advertises rail travel to Berlin and beyond, there is also an advert for Aristoc Stockings, a real throw back.

Published in the UK by Weldons Ltd., printed by The Sun Engraving Co Ltd. in Great Britain.

Centerfold is a two-page photo of the #39;Crowning Of The King#39;.

Measures approx. 14quot; x 11quot;.

CONDITION: Slight rubbing and age-related wear to covers. Minor wear stapled spine, bumps to corners, dog ears, etc. Inside is very clean. No cut-outs, no missng pages, no writing.
Please see photo#39;s for most specific details of the items condition.
